Time is of the essence

This might seem a bit off the normal DIY topics that we cover on this blog, but I feel compelled to tell you about a site I cam across that sells watches. My wife has recently started running in the mornings, and I though I would be a good husband and find her a watch that she core wear for her runs as well as for casual outings. Truth be told, I was really excited when she picked up running because it gives me a little time in the morning to work on my DIY projects. Right now, I’m building a boat from plywood. Again, it sounds random, but you have to trust me. It will float!

Oh yeah, about the watch. The one I picked for here was a casio pathfinder and it met my requirements pretty easily. It was a great price, it looked good, and she can wear it running (while I am working on my diy boat!)

I try not to go too far off the do it yourself topics, because there are way more projects than I ever have time to write about. But, I figured that you might be in a similar situation that I am. You might be thinking about a nice gift for your wife. And, you might find this site useful. There is no doubt that DIY projects take time, so make sure you take care of the people in your life that facilitate your DIY habits! I know it isn’t exactly like other habit forming things in the world, but it’s hard to deny that you don’t get a little addicted to projects you can pull off on your own!
